My apologies for my lack of posting of late. Where has the time gone? I continue to take photos on my walk to work but just haven’t taken the time to post them. So May is going to be one big post to cover the entire month.
How was May? It was a flashback to Spring or a jump ahead to Fall. Cool temperatures dogged the month. I had to drag out jackets for my walk on a consistent basis. A few times there were gloves! Fortunately my parka remains in the closet. It never got cold enough to retrieve that.
Despite the cold, greenery bloomed around me on my walk. Although it felt like Fall, none of the leaves fell. So follow me as I take a review of how May was along the road that I walk everyday.
May 13th – A dreary day gives a feeling of fall to spring.
May 15th – The bright red of these trees are a welcome reprieve from the dull days.
May 16th – The lilacs bloom enthusiastically this month. They are my favorite flower with their delicate bouquet.
May 21st – An example of the purple lilacs.
May 21st – The bench in spring. It has survived the winter.
May 22nd – A study of leaves and the rain they hold.
May 22nd – The stairs to nowhere. How long do we stay on them?
May 23rd – The view from my balcony. City morning, before my walk.
May 23rd – After so many dull days, blue sky and white clouds.
May 28th – The garden is full of life.
May 28th – The green wall. Soon it will disappear completely beneath the growing leaves.
May 28th – Now the tree masks the building.
May 28th – My friend the squirrel already busy this morning.
May 30th – After waiting empty so long, finally the planters are filled with flowers.
May 30th – I love the look of the ceiling of clouds.
May 30th – A study of green and trees.
May 30th – The fence can barely hold back the trees. May ends in a burst of life.
